Contraption


In-order to exhibit the creativity of our young minds we have come up with a new idea "Contraptions".
Contraptions simply works on the principle of "Butterfly Effect" which means a series of different steps where an action at a point triggers the reaction at another point.
We project an initial force as input which results in a sequence of events and produces one effective output.
Our contraption is waiting for innovative thinkers
REGISTRATION FEE: Rs.300/-
DATE: March 6th

• All the participants must send an ABSTRACT related to the topic they prefer with a picture of the design.
• The abstract(soft copy) must be sent in IEEE Format.
• Models with implementations of new innovative ideas are most welcome!!
• The abstract must contain details regarding Name and college ID of the participants, Contact no. ,email id , Department Name (group),College Name and City.
• The abstract must also contain No. of participants, no. of conversions , No. of steps.
• Abstract must be send to ejivecontraptions2k18@gmail.com
• The Abstract must contain the outputs of their models.
• Last date for submission of abstract is 3rd March..
• The shortlisted candidates would be informed personally by email.
• The shortlisted teams will have to register for the event participation by paying an amount of Rs.300 on the day of the event by 10:00AM.

All participants must bring their college ID cards at the time of the event.
• The number of participants per Contraption should not exceed 5.
• For the initial setup around 150-180 minutes will be alloted.
• For the second trail 40 minutes will be alloted.
• Only two trails will be given for each team before the arrival of the judges.
• 10 minutes will be given to each teams for displaying contraptions to the judges.
• There ought to be a minimum of 10 steps in a contraption.
• A maximum of three hand touches are allowed.
• ABSTRACT should be submitted in MS word(.doc) and should not exceed more than 250 words.
• Upon the selection of abstract, the participant will be intimated through email which will also contain the date and time regarding when a particular team must present their model.
• Participants must send their full paper to the mentioned email address upon selection of abstract.
• Certificate will be issued to participants who have registered to the event and presented the model.
• The time limits are to be strictly followed which will be announced on the day of event.
• Decision of the judges is final..
• The organizing committee reserves the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any will be highlighted on the website.
